California Cattlemen's Assn. Seeks Executive VP

The California Cattlemen’s Association is seeking an Executive Vice President. The individual will serve as CEO of the Cattlemen’s Association and CCA Feeder Council, and is responsible for overseeing all activities of the organization, including advocacy efforts to advance organizational policy, serving as the lead media spokesperson, financial planning and directing seven other full-time professional staff in the service of the association’s members.

Qualifications include independent problem solving, vision to expand the association’s capacity, ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, political acumen, personnel and office management experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills and interest in and an extensive understanding of the cattle and livestock industry.

The position is based in Sacramento, but frequent travel throughout the state and around the country to represent CCA members’ needs is required.
