How To Hedge Grain Prices Using Recurring Trens & Market Cy-cles"

Markets can only do three things, they can go up, they can go down, or they can go sideways. Mar-kets move through recurring patterns, such as 1-2-3 tops and bottoms, head and shoulders forma-tions, triangles, wedges, flags and pennants. These are very common formations that continually re-peat themselves throughout time; trading these patterns is considered a technical trading technique or approach.

Presented by Mr. Lan H. Turner, CEO Gecko Software, Inc.

On a longer time scale, markets move through monthly or yearly recurring cycles and trends, certain markets move through major trends during specific times of their cycle, others move through minor trends. The trick is knowing when these fundamental cycles and trends occur, how to prepare your-self for them, how to identify the triggers, and know when and how to enter and exit the market to protect yourself; trading these patterns and trends is considered a fundamental approach to the market.

In today's lesson, we'll be discussing exactly how to identify these types of trading opportunities, and how and when to avoid markets that don't trend. By combining the technicals with the fundamentals, and by not focusing our efforts on just one or the other, is where we establish a true 1-2-3 knock-out-punch trading system.

Mr. Turner is the President of PitNews Press, Editor In Chief of PitNews Magazine, and CEO of Gecko Software, Inc., and chief design architect of the line of Track ‘n Trade LIVE trading platforms, and charting software applications.
