The University of Idaho Butte County Extension Office is
offering a series of eleven gardening workshops on Monday and Wednesday
afternoons, from 1 PM to 4 PM in the Business Center, in Arco. The classes will cover a wide variety of
subjects of interest to gardeners in the Lost Rivers Valleys. Participants who pay the fee and complete the
course, optional quizzes and 30 hours of volunteer work will receive certification
as “Master Gardeners” and a $100 refund on their fees.
We need 15 full time
participants enrolled before April 11th in order to hold the
gardening workshops. For more

The fee for all eleven classes is $150 and includes a copy
of the University of Idaho’s, Master Gardener’s Handbook, and all handout and
laboratory materials. We must have 15 full-time participants in
order to justify holding the workshops.
Individual workshops will be available for $20 each. Pesticide recertification credit will be available
for workshops indicated with an asterisk.
